JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - The Reclamation House in Jonesboro will hold a fundraiser on Tuesday, Nov. 29 to help raise money for the home.

The house has been open since May 2015 and over time has helped many post-rehab or incarcerated women.

Currently, there are 20 women living in the home where they are provided with everything from clothing and food to emotional support.

The women living there said they are thankful for the help they have received.

"I can't count how many things have been done for everybody here," said Amber Johnson, a resident of the house.  "It's a really awesome place."

"Being around good positive people has helped me," said resident Amanda Parsley.

One woman says because of the help she will soon be able to have her children back in her life.

"It's given us a new foundation," said Johanna Helms. "It lets me be everything that I'm supposed to be, do everything I'm supposed to do."

The home will be auctioning off wreaths and Christmas trees between 5 and 7 p.m.

There will be both a silent and live auction and cookies and hot cocoa will be served.

However, anyone who wishes can also donate to the home anytime.

The house is always in need of things such as hygiene products and household items.

If you wish to donate you can contact the Reclamation House at (870) 336-2183.
