POCAHONTAS, AR (KAIT) - A group of therapy dogs visited students Thursday on the Black River Technical College's Pocahontas campus.

It was all a part of the college's "Dog Days of Finals" event.

The college has held the event for the past few semesters to help students relieve some stress during finals.

"Just today we had a student who has three finals and she's already been over twice in between her finals," said Dean of Students Neal Harwell.  "She said it really helps her relax and not get too stressed during her finals."

One of the dogs was brought to the college by an occupational therapist.

The other two dogs who visited students are currently in training to become therapy dogs.

The event also included free lunch and t-shirts for the students.
