Firefighters battle blaze in Bassett

MISSISSIPPI COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - A fire destroyed a home Thursday in Mississippi County as firefighters worked to save the home to no avail.
According to a post on the Wilson Fire Department's Facebook page, Wilson firefighters were called to assist with the house fire in Bassett.
Eight Wilson firefighters helped to try to stop the fire from spreading, but could not save the home.
No other details were available Thursday night.
