Jonesboro Radio Stations Heading Up Relief Drives for Marmaduke Storm Victims

JONESBORO, AR - Jonesboro's Triple FM Radio Group is heading up a relief drive for storm victims in Marmaduke.  'Operation Mending Marmaduke' begins at noon today on the parking lot of Indian Mall, and will continue through 7 p.m. tonight.  The drive will resume tomorrow morning at 6 and continue through noon.

Organizers are collecting bottled water, cleaning supplies, garbage bags, plastic, tarps and Visqueen, and cash donations.

Food and clothing items are not needed, and will not be accepted.

Meanwhile, Clear Channel Radio of Jonesboro has also organized a similar relief drive at The Mall @ Turtle Creek.

Also, First National Bank of Paragould, Jonesboro and Corning has set up the 'Marmaduke/Greene County Storm Relief Fund' to help with efforts that resulted from the April 2 storms.  Individuals may make donations at any First National Bank location in these three communities.  Questions may be directed to the bank's marketing department at 870-239-8521.
