LITTLE ROCK (AP) _ Retail gas prices in Arkansas jumped another
7 cents this week, returning to levels near the record-high mark
after Hurricane Katrina.
The average price yesterday for unleaded gasoline in the state
was two dollars and 82 cents per gallon, according to the Triple-A.
The price was nearly 40 cents higher than one month ago and almost
70 cents higher than one year ago. Arkansas' average is just 10
cents lower than the national average at two dollars and 92 cents.
