Once again, Region 8's News Leader is breaking new ground, using technology to make your life better!  Waiting for weather 'on the 8s' is over!

KAIT-TV has teamed up with Ron's Catfish, The Tinman of All-Metal Roofing Systems , and local cable providers in Jonesboro, Walnut Ridge, Pocahontas, Paragould, and Poplar Bluff to bring you local weather 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

How do I get 24•7 Weather on KAIT-DT 8.2?

24•7 Weather is local and regional weather broadcasted 24 hours a day, seven days a week on KAIT Digital Channel 8.2.  This channel is available over the airwaves much the same as our analog signal, but with the additional requirement of a digital receiver.  The digital receiver attaches to your TV antenna leads and converts the digital signal for your conventional or HD television set.

If you have the basic digital cable package from any of these providers, our 24•7 Weather product is also available on these channels who re-broadcast KAIT Digital Channel 8.2:

  • Suddenlink in Bay, Jonesboro, Pocahontas & Walnut Ridge - channel 247
  • Paragould City Cable - channel 247
  • Poplar Bluff City Cable - channel 247
  • Salem and Viola Cable - channel 12

24•7 has the same content you're used to seeing on KAIT, and much more! K8's Storm Team meteorologists provide exclusive forecasts on 24•7, with more maps and neighborhood forecasts for your town!

During severe weather, 24•7 will be there, with your trusted meteorlogists, showing you the potential danger, and what you need to do to keep your family safe.
