Truck-Train Fatality in Greene County Claims Two Lives

MARMADUKE, AR - Two people were killed this morning in Greene County when a pick-up truck collided with a Union Pacific freight train on U.S. 49, near the Halliday community, south of Marmaduke.

According to the Arkansas State Police, the fatality victims were identified as the truck's driver, George Dickerson, age unknown, of Paragould, as passenger Alvin White, 65, also of Paragould.

The accident occured at approximately 10:14 a.m.
