JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A North Little Rock woman is accused of attacking a woman in the parking lot of a Jonesboro Walmart.

A probable cause affidavit states that on March 11, an elderly man and woman were walking to their vehicle after leaving the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Creek Drive.

Three suspects, including Jamika Hamilton, were walking out in front of the couple, while a fourth suspect walked into the store and then turned to walk in behind the couple.

The affidavit stated that one of the suspects went to her vehicle and started it. Hamilton and another suspect followed the couple to the other side of the vehicle and attacked the woman for her purse.

The victim was knocked down, causing a laceration on her hand.

After Hamilton and another suspect got the woman’s purse, they got into the suspect’s vehicle and sped off.

Court documents state that the woman’s purse, it’s contents and credit cards that were taken were valued at $1,120.

Hamilton appeared before a judge on April 15. The Judge found probable cause to charge her with robbery, second-degree battery, theft of property and theft $5,000 or less but greater than $1,000.

Her bond was set at $35,000.
