Boys Athlete of the Month: Kason Scott (Greene County Tech basketball & baseball)
The February Boys Athlete of the Month is Kason Scott of Greene County Tech. He’s a two sport standout for the Eagles in basketball and baseball. Scott averaged 10 points per game in the regular season and connected on over 60 three-pointers. He led the Eagles with 15 points in a February 27th clash at Marion. GCT is 24-5 and a #2 seed in the State Tournament.
Girls Athlete of the Month: Riley Domino (Valley View bowling)
The February Girls Athlete of the Month is Riley Domino of Valley View. She rolled a 238 on February 11th en route to the 5A State Girls Bowling individual state championship, the Lady Blazers won the team title. Domino followed that up with a 265 on February 20th to capture the overall individual state title.
