Tyler Timms named Valley View head girls basketball coach

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - The Fast Break Friday Night coaching carousel continues.

Valley View announced that Tyler Timms will be the new head girls basketball coach. He takes over after Angie Ellis’ departure to Westside.

Timms guided Riverside to four straight 2A-3 championships and four straight 30+ win seasons. The Lady Rebels were 35-5 in the 2025-26 season, won the NEA Tournament, the WBU Tournament and reached the 2A State Quarterfinals. Riverside captured the 2024 regional title and made the state semis.
