Katon Hill named Blytheville head football coach

BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. (KAIT) - A former Golden Hurricane and Red Wolf earns a head coach opportunity.

Blytheville hired Katon Hill as their new head football coach. He served as Cross County defensive coordinator the last 3 seasons. The Thunderbirds recorded three shutouts in 2025 en route to the 2A State Championship.

Hill was a four-year letterman at Arkansas State from 2014-2017. He earned All-Conference accolades at Jonesboro in 2013, the Golden Hurricane reached the state semifinals.
