About 2:26 a.m. July 5, Jonesboro police responded to a shooting incident on the 900 block of Creath Avenue, according to the affidavit.

Police spoke with a victim who had been standing in the street when she was shot. The victim said she and Riley-Armstrong got into an altercation when Riley-Armstrong drew a gun and pointed it at the victim.

The victim said she pushed the gun away, but Riley-Armstrong pointed it at her again and fired, the affidavit said.

The victim was injured in the chest and arm, and said Riley-Armstrong fled the scene in a silver Chevrolet Avalanche.

A witness who lived in a nearby apartment told police she heard a gunshot and said she knew the victim identified the suspect as Riley-Armstrong.

Another witness told police he was standing nearby when the victim arrived and began “acting belligerent,” according to the affidavit. The witness said he and the victim got into a verbal altercation and the victim pepper sprayed him. The witness then fled on foot and heard four gunshots.

Investigators found two spent shell casings in the parking lot, and surveillance footage showed Riley-Armstrong fleeing the scene in a silver Chevrolet Avalanche.

Riley-Armstrong is being held on a $150,000 cash or surety. She is scheduled to be arraigned Aug. 21. If she posts bond, she will be required to wear a GPS ankle monitor.
