Gepp man injured in crash

BAKERSFIELD, Mo. (KAIT) - A 26-year-old Gepp man was injured after a two-vehicle crash in Ozark County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on State Highway AR at the Foster Feed in Bakersfield at 5:00 p.m. on May 30.

A 43-year-old Wynne man drove a 2000 Peterbilt semi-truck and pulled into the path of a 2023 Hyundai driving southbound by the man from Gepp.

The crash report said the Hyundai couldn’t stop in time and skidded into the side of the Peterbilt.

The Gepp man suffered moderate injuries and was taken by Ozark County ambulance to Baxter Regional Center in Mountain Home.

The Hyundai was totaled and the Peterbilt suffered extensive damage. Both drivers wore safety devices at the time of the crash.
