JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - After facing a sudden eviction notice in December from Fountain Square, Gina’s Place will reopen its doors in a new location.

Gina’s Place said Saturday on Facebook that it will relocate to the former McAllister’s Deli building at 2400 S Caraway Rd.

“Rumors are circulating big time that we have signed the lease and will be moving to the old McAllister’s building. I will say this, it is NOT a rumor! We have secured a lease and [will] be moving as soon as we can figure out when and how,” the post said.

Gina’s Place was forced to find a new location after the East Arkansas Area Agency on Aging announced plans to sell its property at Fountain Square, where many businesses had operated for decades.

According to the post, Gina’s Place plans to offer a drive-thru pickup window and offer insulated coolers to keep to-go meals warm at its new location. Its salads will also be offered by the pint.

“We are excited and ready for the new chapter in our Gina’s Place history,” the post said.
