Bono man killed, Bono woman injured in rollover crash on I-57

JACKSON COUNTY, Ark. (KAIT) - A Bono man was killed and a Bono woman was injured in a rollover crash on Interstate 57 on Tuesday, Arkansas State Police (ASP) said.

David Roberts died and Angela Roberts was injured in the crash, according to the ASP’s preliminary crash report.

ASP said the crash happened in the northbound lanes of I-57 on the river bridge in rural Jackson County at 8:15 p.m. April 7.

David Roberts was driving a 2026 Buick Encore northbound on the interstate when the SUV left the roadway, struck a fence, and went airborne. The front of the Encore struck the ground, causing it to roll, according to ASP.

Angela Roberts was a passenger in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

ASP said the weather was clear at the time of the crash. Next of kin have been notified.
