Zoo offering ‘Access for All’

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KAIT) - The Little Rock Zoo wants to make it affordable for all families to enjoy a day with the animals.

On Thursday, the zoo announced its Access for All initiative discount admission programs.

The first program allows those with a valid SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) card and five additional people to get in for just $2.

Guests must have a valid SNAP card and a valid matching photo ID to purchase tickets at the zoo. There is a limit of six tickets per visit. Children, two and under, get in free.

According to the news release, current SNAP cards from any state will be accepted.
