Escaped Missouri prisoner found in Arkansas

CONWAY, Ark. (KAIT/KARK) - A man is back behind bars after U.S. Marshals said he escaped a Missouri prison last year.

According to content partner KARK, Markel Hutton was arrested by U.S Marshals in Conway on Monday, Aug. 19.

Hutton had escaped from the Bureau of Prisons in St. Louis in November 2023.

Hutton had been serving a 51-month sentence for brandishing a firearm in furtherance of a crime back in 2019.
