11-, 16-year-old facing charges after teen killed in break-in attempt

WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. (WMC) - Two boys are facing charges after a burglary turned deadly in West Memphis.
The burglary happened Tuesday evening. After police arrived at the scene, they located a 14-year-old who had been shot.
The teen was later pronounced dead.
West Memphis police say preliminary information revealed all three boys were attempting to break into a home when the resident fired shots.
The 16- and 11-year-olds were taken into custody and their charges are yet to be determined. Police say they could potentially be charged with murder, aggravated burglary and other charges.
