JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - A man faces a felony charge after police said he hid a camera in a victim’s bedroom and possessed images from concealed recording devices.

Special Circuit Judge Barbara Halsey found probable cause to charge Alexander Peck with video voyeurism, a Class D felony.

On March 18, Jonesboro officers responded to a voyeurism complaint after the victim found a GoPro camera under their nightstand.

Investigators learned the victim confronted Peck, and Peck initially denied the allegation.

Eventually, Peck admitted to placing the camera in the room to listen in on conversations.

Further investigation showed Peck’s phone contained voyeuristic images, including photos of concealed recording devices such as a modified electrical outlet camera and camera-equipped glasses.

Police also found photographs in Peck’s possession of unknown women taken from angles implying the women were unaware they were being recorded.

Halsey set Peck’s bond at $30,000 cash surety.

Peck’s next court appearance is scheduled for July 30.
