Arkansas man sentenced to 60 years for the murder of his parents and their neighbors

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Ark. (KY3) - A Mountain View man has pleaded guilty to the 2022 murder of his parents and neighbors.

Authorities say 56-year-old Donnie Lee Trammell pleaded guilty to four counts of first-degree murder. He was sentenced to 60 years in prison.

On April 21, 2022, authorities found the bodies of 77-year-old Shirley Watters and her son, 55-year-old James Watters. A few hours later, deputies found the bodies of Trammel’s parents, 75-year-old William Clinton Trammell and 72-year-old Sharon Trammell. All four victims were shot.
