‘American Idol’ winner and runner-up to hit the stage together

CORNING, Ark. (KAIT) - The two top finishers in one of the nation’s top singing competitions will perform on the same Region 8 stage.

Back in May, Hannah Harper agreed to play a show in Corning on June 6. Then, she won “American Idol.” Now, she’s bringing the competition’s runner-up along with her.

K8 Now anchor Chase Gage sits down with event organizer Rickie Maples of Pop’s Events to discuss the concert, how it all came together, and why it’s more of a full-circle moment than many might think.
